Membership

 

The Lansdowne Civic League is a voluntary community association that was founded in 1969. It exists to promote community among neighbors through social events, coordinates the care and maintenance of our entrances and common areas, and plans for neighborhood improvements that will benefit Lansdowne for years to come.

For those new to the neighborhood, your annual membership contribution of $75 covers the maintenance of our entrances and common areas (flowers, weekly mowing, leaves, pine needles, etc.), utilities, insurance, events, communication costs, and neighborhood improvements. Improvements in recent years- pressure washing Sardis entrances, new directional signs throughout the neighborhood, picnic tables for Folger Island, irrigation and new landscaping for the Providence entrances. We accomplish a lot with these funds!
